With HUGE thanks to The author Rachael and also to the tour organiser Rachel of #RachwlsRandomResources I adored this so much I literally couldn’t wait to dive into the next book when it arrived! So I’ve had my head in that today 🙊

Blurb:

One night only.

Just think of the possibilities…

The second she sees Mr Oh-So-Delicious, Jennifer Hayes knows she needs one night of crazy. No names, no strings, no rules. Except that Jennifer’s naughty one-nighter is actually Marcus Wright—her new business partner! Now they’re mixing business with all kinds of pleasure. But when it comes to falling in love her sexy Mr Wright is either Mr Wrong or the best mistake of her life…

My Thoughts:

I really enjoyed reading this, in fact I read it in one sitting!

I read a mixture of Genres, but every so often I just need something easy to read with a good dollop of steam involved, and I often find myself returning to favourite Authors. In this case, I am so incredibly glad that I tried someone new for that break!

It’s s short book, romance with several steamy scenes. It’s romance, so you know how it’s going to end, so what’s important is how you get there and why. With a book that isn’t particularly lengthy, you want all of this in a concise but NOT rushed way. That’s a lot of expectations from a relatively short book. Yet I found the Author hit them all.

What i particularly loved, was that despite the length of the book, the Author has done a wonderful job of giving both perspectives. We get to see both sides of the situation, of the tension and the attraction, and it made it that bit more fun. I often find that in romance stories the men can be unpredictable in a “why would he do that?” Kind of way, so it was nice to get the full picture.

The story didn’t feel rushed, but rather it stuck to the interesting bits. There’s the attraction, the confusion, the misunderstandings… all the key parts that a part and parcel of any budding relationship.

If you’re looking for a book that will snag your attention, but gives you everything you want in a romance quickly, then this is perfect! A brilliant book for in a tea break, or a relaxing day snuggled up with a cuppa and a book.

About The Author:

Rachael Stewart adores conjuring up stories for the readers of Harlequin Mills & Boon and Deep Desires Press, with tales varying from the heartwarmingly romantic to the wildly erotic.

She’s been writing since she could put pen to paper as the stacks of scrawled on A4 sheets in her loft will attest to, and the lovingly bound short stories that her father would run off at work and proudly share out with his colleagues. Thinking it was a pipe dream to be published one day, she pursued a sensible career in business but she was really play-acting, achieving the appropriate degree and spending many years in the corporate world where she never truly belonged. Always happiest when she was sat at her laptop in the quiet hours tapping out a story or two. And so here she is, a published author, her full-time pleasure, a dream come true.

A Welsh lass at heart, she now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and three children, and if she’s not glued to her laptop, she’s wrapped up in them or enjoying the great outdoors seeking out inspiration.
