Mixing business with pleasure…
…has never been more tempting!
Career-focussed Zara Anders, an estate agent for the elite, has sworn off men―until gorgeous Swedish billionaire Daniel Lazenby gets under her skin. Their racy affair heats up quickly, but ends in a hurry when Zara learns about Daniel’s womanizing past. Determined to win her back, Daniel offers her a business deal too good to be true…and some out-of-office fun too tempting to turn down!
This was my second book from this author, and having enjoyed the first immensely i was thoroughly looking forwards to getting stuck into this one as well! I wasn’t disappointed.
Once again Rachael has written and short and fast read that leaves an impression upon the reader with seeming effortless ease. The book is both relaxing to read, and really not relaxing at all in the best way. I mean, it IS erotica after all!
The story is very different to the first but with the same general background we expect in shorter romance. Man and woman meet, click, disagree and sort it out, but i love how this author does this in unexpected ways. It’s comforting to read romance because you know roughly what you’re getting, so it’s always fun to find an author that can do that as well as throw in some interesting surprises.
I have to admit I didn’t love these characters as much as the previous book, purely because of the typical “type” the guy fell into, just not my kinda guy haha but, setting that aside it was a fun fast read that kept me engaged from start to end! And despite what I have just said, I have now read both books three times!
If you enjoy short steamy romance, then this is the perfect book for you!
About The Author:
Rachael Stewart adores conjuring up stories for the readers of Harlequin Mills & Boon and Deep Desires Press, with tales varying from the heartwarmingly romantic to the wildly erotic.
She’s been writing since she could put pen to paper as the stacks of scrawled on A4 sheets in her loft will attest to, and the lovingly bound short stories that her father would run off at work and proudly share out with his colleagues. Thinking it was a pipe dream to be published one day, she pursued a sensible career in business but she was really play-acting, achieving the appropriate degree and spending many years in the corporate world where she never truly belonged. Always happiest when she was sat at her laptop in the quiet hours tapping out a story or two. And so here she is, a published author, her full-time pleasure, a dream come true.
A Welsh lass at heart, she now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and three children, and if she’s not glued to her laptop, she’s wrapped up in them or enjoying the great outdoors seeking out inspiration.
