Thankyou to the Author Julie and Rachel of #RachelsRandomResources for my spot on the tour, I absolutely adored these books! Great fun, and a uniquely honest view of how someone may react to winning the lottery.

Did I Mention I Won The Lottery

Individual rating 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Rebecca Miles has won the lottery and is now living a millionaire lifestyle. The only problem is – she hasn’t told her husband. So at weekends she’s a dutiful wife in Darlington, working at the local deli and making shepherd’s pie for dinner, but during the week she’s living in her new mansion in Leeds spending her days shopping whilst her husband thinks she’s looking after her sick mother. Will she get the courage to tell him before he finds out for himself? And can several million pounds in your bank account save a failing marriage?

My Thoughts:

I absolutely loved reading this book, It has made me smile so many times throughout, even whilst wanting to hug the Main Character and slap her husband.

I loved the fact that this isn’t a story about someone who wins the lottery and then a book long list of everything they do with the money, instead there is a much deeper story underneath it.

We see very realistic issues and concerns that could arise from a person winning a large sum of money, especially if you are married. After all, whose is the money? How is it being spent and why?

Now this seems fairly obvious, but imagine that you aren’t in a happy relationship, and you aren’t sure what you should do about it. Then imagine the other person is generally controlling; and you start to see what kind of situations could result.

From the start, I adored the Characters, the different personalities involved, and gradually finding out who they are and why they are the way they are. The story is wonderfully done, highly engaging and a beautifully honest look at what could happen if you win.

There are so many questions posed by this book about peoples possible behaviour in this scenario. Would you believe it, if you found you had won? Would you tell anybody? What would you do with that money, and why? Would you trust it was yours and spend it all? Would you worry it was a mistake?

This was a truly clever book, that makes the reader really think about how they would act in the situation, and how they would respond to scenarios that are posed. After reading the first Book, I couldn’t wait to dive into the follow on “Did I mention I Was getting married?”, and you shouldn’t wait to grab a copy of this amazing book!

Did I Mention Was Getting Married

Individual rating 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Two years ago Rebecca Miles won the lottery and ended her marriage to her overbearing and unpleasant husband Daniel. She had every intention of putting the past behind her and starting again, but it turned out to be so much more difficult than she had imagined. Then Daniel announces he is getting married again and as Rebecca broods over how he has found it so easy to move on her daughter phones with good news – she’s getting married too! Determined not to be left behind Rebecca throws caution to the wind and finally meets someone who can give her the new start she so desperately wants.

Now her ex-husband is back in her life, the future Mrs Miles wants to be her best friend, she has her daughter’s wedding to plan and a ramshackle old wedding venue to renovate to its former perfection in just a few months, if only she can find a builder who will take on the job. There are challenges, surprises, love and heartbreak ahead but at the end of a long, hot summer, will there be any weddings?

My Thoughts:

Once again, Julie has created a wonderful story that is easily gripping, impossible to put down, with humorous moments and very believable scenarios.

I was so glad to continue reading about these Characters, I knew that I would miss them as soon as I put the books down, and I wasn’t wrong! I enjoyed every page and was sad to reach the end!

The story is once again cleverly done so that the situations we are given for e the reader to consider, how would they behave in this situation? Would they react the same way, or differently? There are several situations in which we all assume there would be a certain type of reaction, and yet I think the Author wonderfully creates a much more honestly plausible response.

When faced with our Ex Husband (who not only was controlling but also cheated) and his new wife, how would we react? The situations made me chuckle and wince equally, with wonderful humour and gripping realism that just makes this the perfectly balanced tale.

I love the fact that Rebecca is far from perfect, and remains true to her previous Character in this tale. She isn’t particularly confident, she comes across as much the avoidant of conflict type, which I can entirely empathise with, but when backed into a corner she starts to stand up for herself.

I have enjoyed every page of this book just as much as the previous, and I can’t wait to see what else the Author has in store, with hopes that we will return to these Characters in the future!

About The Author:

Julie Butterfield belongs to the rather large group of ‘always wanted to write’ authors who finally found the time to sit down and put pen to paper – or rather fingers to keyboard and wrote Did I Mention I Won the Lottery? It should be pointed out this is a complete work of fiction and she did not in fact receive millions in her bank account and forget to mention it her husband – even though he still asks her every day if she has anything to tell him!

Her second book was Google Your Husband Back and the latest addition is Did I Mention I Was Getting Married? – which revisits Rebecca a few years after the lottery win which changed her life.

Were Trilogy by Dixie Lynn Dwyer

#BookReview #SeriesReview Were Trilogy by Dixie Lynn Dwyer

My Average Rating for the Trilogy: 🤩🤩🤩.75

Series: Were Trilogy

Pages: 234 / 237 / 241

Publisher: Siren Publishing

Genre: Romance / Erotica / Revers Harem

Book 1: Were She Belongs

[Ménage Amour: Erotic Fantasy Ménage a Quatre Romance, F/M/M/M, Shape-shifter]

After being abducted, Lexi was unable to escape and about to be murdered. Growls. Bodies flying. The next thing she knows, she’s staring into the eyes of some sexy wolf she met at the club. Her old friend, Sierra, helped save her, along with three very sexy and intimidating Alpha males.

Although they are triplets, Lexi soon finds out that they are just as powerful individually as they are together. But she’s never really belonged, and all she can give them is danger and pain. Paul, Saber and Andre have found their mate, and they’re ready to claim her body and soul.

The one problem, Lexi trusts no one. She’s lived on the streets, survived on her own, and she’s not about to be pampered. They know she’s in danger and that she’s safest with them. It’s going to take some sneaky, dominant sexual tactics to convince Lexi she’s where she belongs. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

My Thoughts:

I have read this Trilogy a few times now, and I’ll explain why I always return.

I love this Authors writing style, mixing Fantasy, some action, romance, shifters and Reverse Harem all into one story. It’s so easy to read yet exciting too! The characters tend to be full of sass and be string Characters, though sometimes situations where the responses frustrate me, I still love every page.

The sex scenes are soooo steamy! So if you enjoy some smoking hot moments in your stories, then this Author is queen. This is the woman who started me reading Erotica and Reverse Harem, and I still come back to my favourites regularly.

In this books case, I love how the story starts out, it’s unpredictable and just a bit different, I was never entirely sure what the Characters and plot would reveal next! It had me on the edge of my seat, excited to see where the storyline was going.

The men in the story are very different to one another, though for myself, Saber is very definitely my favourite, just WOW! Lexi is one very lucky lady 😏😏

I loved Feldman and the revelations we were given along the way! It was surprising and sweet, and brought tears to my eyes a couple of times. If you enjoy Paranormal Shifter Romances, then this is certainly something you should pick up soon! And you can now grab the Trilogy boxset on Amazon kindle!

Book 2: Were Love Found Her

[Menage Amour: Erotic Fantasy Menage a Cinq Romance, M/F/M/M/M, shape-shifters]

The Sinclair, McFay and Crimson wolf packs are not out of danger. In fact, it is quite the opposite. Lexi’s cousins, Jacob and Troy Crimson, are about to be murdered. As they join the party in their club, VALERIES, they are attacked. If not for the quick reflexes of one sexy blonde, Jacob would have been killed by the blade of silver.

Antoinette is stunned by her reaction to the two Alphas and finds herself in a heap of trouble, quadruple style. Not two, but four alpha males claim her for their mate, and she’s not sure how to handle them.

There’s an evil force set on destroying all alphas and ruling the world. He wants to obliterate the circle of elders and sets his sights on destroying Crimson, McFay and Sinclair. The battle has begun, and both Lexi and Antoinette must combine their powers, with the help of their alpha mates, to destroy the evil force before their packs are annihilated. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

My Thoughts:

I really enjoyed reading this, the beginning of the relationships involved so very different to the first book! I loved the fact that the people involved in the relationship were a bit different, their start and organising the relationship not as easy as previously.

I enjoyed the different storyline, with surprising situations along the way, magic and mayhem galore. As with all the authors books, there are many steamy scenes! And in the case of this book, they’re not as instantly “perfect”, there is some figuring out necessary, but I can’t explain that without spoilers.

In fact, I really enjoyed the book and there are many things that I WANT to say, but I can’t without telling you what happens.

So, I will simply say that if you enjoyed book one, this is even better. If you enjoy fantasy romance with shifters and magical bad guys, then this is the series for you!

Book 3: Were Love Conquers All

[Siren Menage Everlasting: Erotic Paranormal Menage a Quatre Romance, M/F/M/M, werewolves]

Princess Charity Mossano of Milan is the Chosen One. She is forced to remain in hiding as a magical rogue wolf named Devlon continues to hunt her. He wants to mate her to gain her powers, destroy the circle of elders, and rule the world. She establishes Caliber, a security firm, to protect the last Royal were family, the Venificus triplets.

Maximus, Luther, and Dante are individually powerful and dominant males. They get what they want and are superior in battle, in wealth, and in charm. Fate leads Charity to the Royal Venificus estate. She realizes that the three handsome, powerful royal Alphas are her mates.

While there, someone Devlon is working with attempts to kill Dante. She reveals herself and the battle of all times begins. With the help of her spirit sisters, Lexi and Antoinette, along with their Alpha mates, Charity must fight the evil villains and save the world. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

My Thoughts:

I love the previous two books, both of which were quite individual, and I do enjoy reading this one too, but I do have a couple of issues with it, however I’ll get to them later.

I enjoyed learning about the Chosen one, and seeing the previous Characters pop up so we can see how things have gone hears down the line is nice!

I enjoyed the addition of new Characters, and seeing more magical elements rearing up in this tale. As with the previous ones, the sex scenes are steamy and interesting, with a few provisos.

It frustrated me that in book three, Lexi and Toni seem to have different personalities suddenly. People grow and mature, but they seem entirely different in this book, and that’s frustrating. That being said, this can be explained in growing and maturing, and learning more about their powers, and perhaps this would be less prevalent if the books aren’t read back to back.

Also, as much as I adore this authors writing style, the fact that once again the female says no and the men basically say “tough” annoys me. These are strong, independent women. Or so they are described to be initially, so it has irritated me that this seems to go the same way at each point in the Trilogy.

Perhaps something for the Author to consider, would be having them try to build a relationship to get her attention? As much as I love Were type storylines, and I have reread these a few times, this is my least favourite purely because it once again is a strong female character, whom is pressured by use of sex.

They’re attracted to one another. Mating instinct. GREAT. But I don’t personally see why this has to mean their relationship building through the men pressuring her into sex and using sex to then influence her emotions. It seems odd to me that this Character is supposed to be stronger and more dominant as the chosen one, yet the relationship still begins in much the same way.

That being said, it is just one thing that frustrates me. I still very much enjoy reading the trilogy, and it was my first delve into Ménage/Reverse Harem romance, which has become a favourite genre for me! So the trilogy is WELL worth the read! I have lost count of how many times I have read these stories, ad even with my frustration at this final book, I enjoyed every single page of it!

Holiday In Death by JDRobb

Series: In Death 7

My Rating: 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

She smelled it, fresh death. Both metallic and fruity. Easing the door all the way open, she found it . . .

It’s Christmas-time in New York City, but homicide lieutenant Eve Dallas struggles to get into the holiday spirit. Finding a woman strangled to death by a murderous Santa doesn’t help. And he’s left behind a present: a partridge in a pear tree, pinned to the victim’s hair.

With a creeping dread, Eve watches the bodies mount and realises the key – the killer is counting down the twelve days to Christmas. And there is only one connection. The victims had been using the same dating service.

Eve enters a dark world where searching for The One is fraught with terror, leaving her racing to find the murderer, as things get much too close to home.

My Thoughts:

Two JDRobb books down in as many days, so that tells you just how much I enjoy these books and find myself unable to put them down. I NEED to get to the end and see who did it!!

But that’s only part of the attraction of this series, the relationships that we see build and change throughout the series are so well crafted, it feels like you know each of the characters personally. Each story brings new scenarios for the Characters to navigate, both personally and professionally.

This one on particular, to be quite honest, had me confused as to whether I was seriously creeped out or wanted to snicker at the storyline. Considering the Month and how close we are to Christmas, this was certainly apt for the season.

That being said. Wow. Creepy. Santa Serial Killer 😳

I have to say that even READING that in my own review, sounds slightly ridiculous, but the way this has been done is very clever. It’s just the right mix of incredulity and amusement at the choice of scenario, whilst maintain JDRobbs usual flair for creating a believably horrific murderer.

True to form, the revelations towards the end of the story are surprising in some ways, but entirely believable. The how and why is cringeworthy for it’s conclusory information, but admirable for the way in which the story is brought to a close.

I enjoyed reading this even at the times it made me flinch, and I liked seeing the friendship Peabody and Eve start to flourish a bit more, as well as that of Mira and Eve. I adore the friendships we are gradually seeing come together, and how these each have their own hurdles and imperfections.

I can’t wait to read the next book!! No really. I mean that literally.

If you enjoy Crime Fiction with a dash of Romance, Dystopia and believable life drama, with kick ass characters that go through terrible ordeals but pull through in believable ways, then you need to read this series.

He is an expert with the latest technology…a madman with the mind of a genius and the heart of a killer. He quietly stalks his prey. Then he haunts the police with cryptic riddles about the crimes he is about to commit – always solved moments too late to save his victims’ lives.

Police lieutenant Eve Dallas finds the first victim butchered in his own home. The second loses his life in a vacant luxury apartment. The two men had little in common. Both suffered unspeakable torture before their deaths. And both had ties to an ugly secret of ten years past – a secret shared by none other than Eve’s new husband, Roarke.

My Thoughts:

If you have read any of JDRobbs books, then most of the things she manages to do in such a short story will not come as a surprise. For anyone new to this, i recommend you go back to book one, in order to truly appreciate the complex relationships we see in this book.

I adored this, as with previous JDRobb books, and my goal of 2019 will be to try and catch up! As well as getting all the previous books I have enjoyed by her, reviewed across platforms.

But for now. Revenge in Death.

I love this story. And this is in fact the fourth time I have read this book, along with many others, but why do I enjoy this one?

I love the fact that in this story, we really start to see Roarkes past rear it’s head fully. There have been hints and small details revealed throughout, but in this story, we truly see his history come to light in a new way.

We come to further appreciate the strength of the bond that Roarke and Eve have, as well as coming to see just how devastating the clashes could potentially be. When we see Roarkes past in devastating detail, it comes hand in hand with a newly horrific string of deaths for our Eve to solve. From the start, and Roarkes reactions, we know he has an idea about what is going on.

I love the fact that as complex as the characters are, we can completely understand their reactions in the situations that are crafted around them. The main characters butt heads in interesting ways, each reacting in a way that perfectly suits their personality. At no point do i find myself questioning their behaviour. Because it just works for them so wonderfully.

Roarke is understandably frustrated that Eve doesn’t instantly seem to lean towards his innocence, or the innocence of Summerset. And yet, to me this was logical, both for his hurt, and her reaction. For someone whose moral compass is very black and white, the grey areas she is forced to coast are difficult for her, and yet she is unswervingly loyal, and between all of this, I love these two characters so so much!!

Add in the Summerset angle, and this is just a cauldron of emotions waiting to boil over. Summerset and Eve can’t stand each other, but summerset is loyal to Roarke and vice versa, and Roarke and Eve are equally loyal to one another. An intriguing mix of emotions, that clashes perfectly, more so in this book than in others.

And that’s just the relationships! And not all of them at that. I adore this Authors work, for so many reasons. I could probably talk about them for days. All of this volatility mixes with crimes that have you desperately trying to figure out the who, whilst slightly dreading it. JDRobb is very good at surprising revelations!!

The crimes are grim, and very cringeworthy at times, but they’re perfectly described to make you understand the characters reactions to what they are dealing with.

If you enjoy Crime Fiction that also runs along a Romantic story line, with some steamy scenes and fun mixture of characters? You need to read this series! Start from book one “Naked In Death” to get the full effect of the building relationships, but each can be read as a standalone Crime Story.

The Carrero Series – Arrick and Sophie by LTMarshall

#bookreview The Carrero Series – Arrick and Sophie Trilogy by LTMarshall
Pages: 523/382/540/233
Publisher: Pict Publishing
Genre: Romance/ Contemporary Romance
My Overall Thoughts on The Trilogy:
I absolutely adored this trilogy, much as the previous with Jake and Emma! I mow cannot decide whether I am #teamjake or #teamarry so I have decided that I’m #teamcarreroharem instead!
In true Carrero and Marshall fashion, this is a beautifully written and edge of the seat trilogy. It is far from your typical pretty romance, in fact I adore these books for their realism. The Characters have their own hangups and reservations, and they come with their own personal baggage and demons.
Each person makes mistakes, they react in realistically stupid ways, sometimes ways that are incredibly human and have the reader itching to slap some sense into one or both! And just when you think you have your feet at you, Marshall throws another curve ball that leaves you devouring page after page, terrified and excited to know how a situation will work out.
Each book has it’s own shock value, and her conclusions leave the reader wondering how something will play out. How will they get past this? What’s the catch? Because let’s face it, if you’re here in the series then you KNOW Leanne does not do a pretty ending anytime before the end, so when there is one… well. It’s got to go wrong, and even knowing that, there’s no way of knowing just what she will do.
Every Page has me eagerly flying the through the book, devouring the words like I’ve been starved, and to be honest, after having had a break between the trilogies, I NEEDED more carrero in my life. I HAD to see what she would do this time round, even knowing I would probably message her cursing something she had done to the people I had become addicted to.
As always, Leannes talent for creating a beautiful, horrific, cleverly staged story had me glued to every page and cursing at those pesky human necessities that tore me from the book… you know, like sleep. And food.
Seriously, If you haven’t begun the Carrero Series then you need to. Any #romance lover needs to read these, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who usually would not enjoy romance, because these books are a class of their own!!
Anyway. Enough from me, find out for yourself! Grab them from amazon.com or amazon.co.uk they’re inexpensive and available (at the time of writing) on Kindle Unlimited!
I’m off to go read the newly released Book 7 😍 hurry up with the next two Leanne! I already know I’ll need them!

Book 4 – *****
SOPHIE HUNTSBERGER found her way to a new life and new family when she ran from the physical and sexual abuse at the hands of her father.
She has blossomed, healed in ways she never imagined she would or could within the safe arms of her adoptive family.
ARRICK CARRERO has been her rock, her best friend and her protector for years, but even he cannot get to the root of her growing emptiness.
Sophie is lost. And she’s reaching out for anything to fill the void and cure whatever ails her.
When Sophie realises the answer has been within arms reach all along, she’s unable to prepare herself for Arrick’s spiralling emotions.
What was once innocent now comes into question – and life does not always let the heart prevail.
Characters that will break your heart, as well as each other’s.
My Review:
Wow! Another brilliant Carrero instalment, and a wonderful introduction to Sophie and Arrick!
In true Carrero style, Marshall keeps the reader guessing throughout, cringing at the decisions the characters make and at times wanting to scream at them in sheer frustration!
Sophie is vulnerable, confused and more than a bit bratty at times. There are several moments i wanted to slap some sense into her, but all her behaviours become clear the more we know her.
The opening scene with Arrick is brilliantly done, setting the scene and giving a valuable insight into how he acts and reacts later. He is confused, conflicted with no idea of where to turn, and that becomes more confused along the way.
I love seeing how their relationship has been, although the situation with Natasha makes me want to rave at them all. Any love triangle is tricky! And this one is worrying throughout because there is no clean cut answer or solution, it is very well created and handled to give an amazing sense of realism throughout the unfolding scenarios.
All of this comes together at the end, in Marshalls signature “OMG what did you do?!” moment.
An Author with a talent for creating realistic love situations, realistic dilemmas and responses, and making the reader NEED to know how this situation will turn out later.
Book 5 – *****
SOPHIE HUNTSBERGER has been living her own life for the past three months. She is finding her feet and her strength – determined to survive in a world without ARRICK CARRERO.
Unfortunately for Sophie, the wheel of fate throws them straight back together again. And they find their feeling for each other are like magnets, pulled by a stronger force that neither can fight.
The heart is a funny thing: it can both hate and love, hurt and heal – at the same time.
However, something given so readily once upon a time is not so willing to peek out from the safe shadows.
Sophie has to decide if she can let that one person back in that she never thought would ever betray her – Arrick.
A rollercoaster of a journey that you won’t want to get off.
My Review:
OMG the conclusion to the last book had me diving into this instantly!!
I couldn’t believe what had transpired and needed to know how this would turn out, and so i got straight into this to see where we would go.
I wasn’t disappointed. So many emotions being pulled from the reader, worry, curiosity, shock, anger… this is not an easy bed of roses ride, and I devoured it at top speed!
The love triangle is far from quickly rectified, with the characters making silly choices, snap decisions and then dealing with the consequences.
The further into the book we get, the more we see that although these are two people who know one another incredibly well. They are still people, very individual and very capable of unintentionally hurting one another.
Their relationship is very realistic, their pitfalls and errors along the way. And seeing more insights into their relationships and friendships helps to build a fuller view of who they are.
I adored the first trilogy, and will happily reread, but from the faster dive into the story it is clear to see how Marshall adapted her learning to create an even faster build of emotions and tensions.
I love how we see the Characters adapting to their new relationship and newly realised feelings, and it gives an entirely different mix of emotions and complications.
Natasha becomes Pitiable, and i wound up seriously wanting to slap some sense into Arrick whilst entirely sympathising with Sophie, much to my surprise she matures gradually and has become a character i love to read about!
Book 6 – *****
SOPHIE HUNTSBERGER and ARRICK CARRERO start their new life together in France, where Sophie hopes to follow her dream and finish her term in the Paris Fashion Academy.
Everything seems too good to be true and a happy ever after is clearly on the cards. Or is it?
Unforeseen long separations and being cut off from family and friends half way across the world all take a toll.
And that’s on top of the conflicts Sophie is facing from fellow students who see her as a threat.
While the threads unravel faster than Sophie can sew them back up, life takes a drastic turn – and Sophie and Arrick’s love faces a critical test.
This is the final instalment of the Sophie and Arrick story. Is it the end? Or is it happy ever after?
You’ll be holding your breath to the very last page
My Review:
Oh My Goodness!! What a wild ride!!
I felt so sorry for both characters at several points throughout this story, and this has been such a mix of emotions my mind is reeling!
The characters have come so far since book 4 and i love how they have gradually built and worked together, but in true L T Marshall fashion, there are several heart-wrenching moments along the way!
Several times i said “OMG why would you do that?!” Because I couldn’t believe what had happened, at the same time loving the surprises Marshall has in store.
The confusion and heartache the characters feel as they navigate very realistic and very difficult situations is beautifully done, making the readers heart ache along with them. I found myself desperately trying to read faster to find out what would happen, to see where these amazing people were going and how they would get there.
These are complex characters, and Marshall has done an astounding job once again of maintain their complex personalities whilst gradually maturing them and building their relationship around very real issues and concerns.
The storyline is far from predictable and i adore the twists and turns, the surprises Marshall incorporates into the storyline. They give the romantic story a more honest air, and a believable progression through life’s challenges and complications.
I loved the conclusion to this amazing trilogy, and can’t wait to see what the next Carrero series will bring!
Carrero Bonus Book 2: Arricks Perspective *****
Bonus extras from The Carrero Series.
Fan requested chapters from not only Arrick Carrero’s point of view , but a bonus from Natasha, two brother interviews, and a special Christmas excerpt. This contains requested chapters only – the dance scene from book 5 will be released just after book 6 and added to this bonus book through an update. This is a bonus book and will only have value if you have read The Carrero series.
My Review:
I thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy, and was anxious to see what Arry thought in some situations. I loved the Jakes perspective from the previous Carrero stories, so I was so excited to read this!
I was far from disappointed.
Once again L T Marshall has perfectly recreated the most pivotal points in the story from the opposite view, giving an entirely original twist to the series, in which we see the relationship from all angles.
Ordinarily we only see a romantic story and a situation from the one view, so in order to understand the other persons view we have them explain in a conversation. Whilst Marshall does this as well, what truly makes the series stand out is the beauty of her ability to create a situation and characters whom are so well rounded as to make you feel you could reach out and touch them.
Or in some cases, slap them.
I adored this particularly because we so rarely get the mans perspective, and seeing the situations so fully, we are more able to connect with both parties in the story, and i think it highlights very succinctly that relationships take work because we cannot read one anothers minds! And most often, taking the time to see a situation from the other persons view could show a whole other light on it.
More than that, the view from Natashas point of view was eye opening! A love triangle is difficult for all involved, but i felt so sorry for her!
That, and more made this a very individual Read, but invaluable for further understanding the people we have met so far!
As always, beautifully written!! And I love love LOVE Arry 😍😍 he is also now forgiven for certain moments 🙊🙊

My Reviews:
Book one – Royally Entangled
I thoroughly enjoyed this, a very new consideration of reverse harem. I did have a few issues, but they did not effect my enjoyment of the book and i would happily reread this.
I loved the mix of traditional lore folk in a more modern setting, although i do hope the later we get more history about where they came from and why the princes were so close if they were at war, etc.
I loved the individual characters, my only comment would be that i personally would have preferred a bit of a background before they get together, as that aspect seemed to happen unreasonable fast.
However, that was my only issue as such, i loved the way the clans were built and explained, and i live how each character is different.
It was a good fast paced read with a lot happening in the first book, so i am eager to see what the second book will bring, hopefully there will be more history given in that time!
The details are brilliant, and the action scenes are very cleverly done to put you in the middle looking around, and had me eager to see how a situation would turn out, however at times it did seem that the resolution was too fast or too simplistic, although this is something many Authors do initially so I am hopeful this will improve!
That being said, I read most of this in one night and couldn’t wait to pick it up again when I woke! Fun, fast paced, steamy…. brilliant. Some teething issues, such as the protagonist resolution seemed a bit easy? BUT as there are two more books, we shall see!
Definitely worth picking up for anyone who enjoys Reverse Harm, Fantasy and Erotica.. easy, fun read with lots of plot aspects!
Book Two – Royally Exposed
So much fun!
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this, the second instalment in what is a well thought out reverse Harem.
After the initial book I felt that some issues had been rushed to conclusion, but finishing the second book I find myself changing my opinion.
The storyline just is very fast paced, and I’m loving every page. More about each individual culture is learnt as the story progresses, and the characters individuality is fun!
The characters were introduced quite rapidly, and so at times it was confusing in book one but somewhere between then and now i find the characters easy to follow and differentiate between.
I love these characters, they each have very different personalities and interact interestingly with one another.
The plot continues to develop with several surprising situations along the way, and each new turn had me more and more eager to find out what would happen next, and holding my breath to get to the conclusion of a situation.
I have several questions about the Main Character and her exes, but I’m loving the bits of history we are getting as the story develops, however i do have some hopes in regards to them!
These first two books have each been good fun, but i enjoyed the second more for the interesting attitudes encountered along the way. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book, but I am certain it will be just as surprising and fast moving!
Book Three – Royally Elected
Impressive, ending could have been better
I enjoyed this from the start, once again the author has made this a fun, exciting and steamy journey from the first page.
I enjoyed the introduction of an entirely new element which made this individual to the previous books, however I did find that the situations in this book became rather repetitive towards the end.
It felt much like the author could not decide how to bring the issues to a close, and so left them open, for example BOTH protagonists are now “in the wind”.
There hasn’t actually been a closure to their issues, and it felt the the final few chapters were a repeat of a previous situation in the book.
That being said, I have enjoyed reading the story, as the writing style is easily engaging and the characters are diverse and fun.
However, this does not feel like a conclusion, in fact it felt as though a lot of the previous situations could have been removed and this storyline continued.
Every book had a new protagonist and for myself that felt rushed and gave the impression the Author wasn’t certain where the story would go, yet despite that I have enjoyed the book immensely and would recommend people read them, though perhaps with an understanding that these are more like independent stories that a trilogy, as the three storylines could easily have been separate tales and characters.
But, the characters remaining interesting, and the relationship was entertaining to read about.
Well worth reading for any YA fantasy/Reverse Harem/Erotica fans

Book 1 – The Carrero Effect
Book 2 – The Carrero Influence
Book 3 – The Carrero Solution
When beginning the first book, I had not previously come across any of the Authors work before. I wasn’t entirely certain what to expect, but as it had been recommended as a romance, I has some expectations, and was ready to sit back, relax, and enjoy.
From the start, this follows traditional romance storylines, meeting the man and finding she likes him, and this continues in much the way you would expect any romantic tale to do. At least initially.
Not far into the story, things seem to be going wrong for our lovebirds, they haven’t walked right into a fairytale romance, in fact they both seem to have hangups and reservations. Perfect! Purely because it is in fact NOT perfect! This is not a pretty tale of man meets girl, girl loves man, and they live happily ever after.
These Characters have been created to be fully rounded, they each have their own issues and histories, and neither one is perfect. They clash, they argue, they aren’t instantly a perfect fit. They’re unsure of their steps, and they each make mistakes as the story progresses. And don’t expect it to suddenly become a pristine relationship!
The ending of each book is a surprise, and there are shocks throughout as well. The characters make silly choices, they react badly, in short they are the most HUMAN Characters I have ever encountered before. Sounds ironic doesn’t it? After all, shouldn’t Human Characters be human? Usually, I find not. But in this case, I found that I laughed, Cried (Genuine tears) I swore at the author, even whilst admiring the talent, because this is the most honest look at a romantic endeavor that I have come across.
So we have a tale that shows us both Characters endearing Qualities, as well as showing us their insecurities, and how this makes them misunderstand, and at times generally make asses of themselves over being in Love. They are far from perfect, and as we progress towards the end of the first book, we assume that, surely now this ends how we expect? Isn’t that how romance stories work?
Don’t hold your breath Folks! LTMarshall doesn’t roll that way, and I LOVE her for it! The Characters make asses of themselves, and I wanted to scream at them both! I was so mad that I dived straight into book two and before I knew what was going on it was 2am and I was halfway through it. Remember, this is a TRILOGY. This is not a stand alone romance book, but three, and I promise you, you won’t see the shocks coming.
Book two is even more shocking! I was forewarned, but I have to say I didn’t believe them. And then as i get further and further into book two, I was in tears, genuinely Crying. Odd to think that a Romance series made me ‘Ugly Cry’ and I was in a way glad of it, but there you go. I was so ready for the perfect ending, but at the same time I knew that I would be disappointed if that was the case! People aren’t perfect, and relationships are hard work!
LTMarshall has captured the essence of that, with an easy flowing writing style that had me devouring page after page and flying through the trilogy in Four days. Yep. Nearly a book a day! and had i not started late one night, It would have been three.
I was so glued to these books, I was laughing, crying, gasping, and at two points i actually shouted “OH YOU IDIOT!!” in anger! My fiance has been dropping me confused looks, and shaking his head at me since I began the first book. He probably thinks I am losing my mind, but rather than losing it, I have found it in a way.
I have finally found a series that is everything in one place. It’s unpredictable throughout, Its Steamy, It’s emotional, It’s easy to read, but full of rich details. Situations had me leaning forwards and reading faster to find out what would happen whilst at the same time making me not want to reach the end because I didn’t want this ride to end!
The Conclusion to all three books had me tutting at people who dared to speak to me, and bullying my OH into getting dinner because I NEEDED to finish the books! and as with book 1, by the end of the second book i NEEDED to start the third to see what would happen.
Having nearly finished book three, and going through all the shocks that had in store, I messaged the Author because I couldn’t believe what she had done!! I finished the book, and now all I can think about is, “I wonder what she will throw at us in the next Trilogy..?”
Keep your eyes peeled! because I doubt it will be long before I have read those too… I can see the Carerro Series being my go to for romance! It doesn’t matter what mood you’re in, there is some of everything in these!
Romance? Carrero it.
Erotica? Carrero It.
Suspense? Carrero it.
Shocks? Carrero it.
Need an emotional book..? Yep. Carrero it.
